Crochet Top Down Beanie Pattern

The top down TC (Traverse City, where I live!) crochet beanie is a fun colorful beanie that works up quickly! Use a basic neutral then add a pop of color!

Written in 5 sizes:

- Baby Size, newborn (12" head circumference, 5" long)
- Baby Size (14" head circumference, 5.5" long)
- Toddler Size (16" head circumference, 6" tall)
- Child Size (18" head circumference, 6.5" tall)
- Adult size (20" head circumference, 7.5" long)

Materials:

- Size H, 5.0 mm crochet hook

- Medium worsted weight yarn- I used Loops & Threads Impeccable in "Putty" for the neutral color and Loops & Threads Impeccable in "Falling Leaves" for the contrasting color (in the first photo)

- Blunt needle

- Optional: faux fur pom pom

- single crochet
- double crochet
- work in the third loop only
- work in the back loop only
